Yacon has been valued in the South American Andes from ancient Inca times for beauty and health. This Yacon is cultivated around Aoki village in Shinshu where no pesticides and chemical fertilizers are used. Yacon leaves contains a high volume of Fructo-oligosaccharide as well as polyphenols, catechins (more than green tea), Terpenoids and flavonoid glycosides. Roasted Yacon leaves and stems give a full flavor and sweetness whether served hot or cold.

* How to make tea: Put the tea bag in a pot, pour in 1 to 1.5L of hot water and leave brewing to the desired strength.
